The Integrated SEND Service has opened up access for schools to receive advice, support and strategies for meeting the needs of pupils with SEND from the ASD Teachers, Wycombe area. This service is offered free to all schools in Buckinghamshire for young people with and without an EHCP.
This will enable schools to have more access to the skills of the Specialist Teachers before considering an application for an EHCP. This allows settings to build their knowledge and understanding for supporting pupils with SEND through the Tiered Approach.
The advice sessions will be held each half-term and offer school staff the opportunity to speak with the professionals from the appropriate teams to receive advice and support.
Please note that once a session is booked, a form will be sent out which must be completed and returned no later than 7 days before the session, so the Specialist Teacher is able to prepare. Unfortunately, it will be necessary to reschedule the session if we do not receive the completed form within this timescale.
Please also be aware that we are able to discuss a maximum of 2 pupils at each session.
