Integrating health and care services: Talking the same language

This session is for transformation and policy leads, CIOs and information systems designers and architects who are grappling with information relating issues and risks which are hampering more effective cross agency working.

 This is a big topic but one that is of increasing importance. Specifically this event will look at:

  • The case for better information sharing resulting from the Greater Manchester devolution annoucement.
  • Talking the same language when it comes to identifying people and properties.
  • A practical example of case management issues and opportunties from a solution provider and industry perspective.
  • Some wider examples of effective information design and architecture for cross agency working.
There will be a number of speakers and roundtable discussions. It is expected that there will be approximately 15 people and this will be run using a roundtable format.

Arrivals from 9:30am for 10am start. The session ends at 1:00pm and lunch is included.

 This session connects with and will inform other iNetwork activity including our work with the:

  • Information Commissioners Office on sharing of health and social care data,
  • Local eGovernment Standards Body (LeGSB) which has prototyped a Local Data Ecosystem model for Troubled Families,
  • Government Digital Service on PSN and information governance harmonisation between NHS and PSN,
  • DWP on data flows between local public service organisations and the DWP to support welfare reform, the Care Act and troubled families.
  • LGA on the review currently underway on a local equivalent of the Government Digital Service.

What else do I need to know?

This is a CPD certified event.

Event registration and cancellation information: FREE attendance for those individuals from organisations that hold a current subscription with iNetwork or AQuA. In the drive towards efficiency and the effective management of resources, catering arrangements will only be made for registered delegates. If you plan to attend, please register no later than 5 working days before the event in order that we may confirm numbers with the venue. Please let us know in plenty of time if you have booked onto the event but cannot attend. No cancellation charges apply, however each no-show or last minute cancellations is costly, using funds that cannot be recouped.  Sufficient notice [at least 7 working days in advance - which is the minimum notification for most venues to arrange catering] or delegate substitution with a colleague is much appreciated.
