About Us - Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation (WSCF):
Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation is an independent charity, established in 1975, which exists to tackle disadvantage and strengthen local communities by inspiring philanthropy and supporting the voluntary sector.
Our mission is to grow sustainable funding for Wiltshire and Swindon, forge partnerships and create a culture of giving that helps meet local needs and empowers the voluntary sector to tackle challenges and seize opportunities Through grant-making, we provide vital funding to local charities, community groups, and individuals.
Through our grants programmes and with the support of our partners, funders and the local voluntary sector, we have helped to positively change the lives of tens of thousands of local people every year. Together, we fund and enable projects across Wiltshire and Swindon that reduce poverty and disadvantage, reduce loneliness and isolation, and improve mental health and wellbeing. We also support initiatives that connect local people with arts, culture, heritage, and the environment, as well as supporting young people with their educational and entrepreneurial aspirations.
