Integrating Spiritual and Aesthetic Resources into REBT, CBT, DBT & ACT
Overview
Move from concept to clinical method. This workshop offers practical ways to weave beauty, awe, ritual, art, and music into structured therapies. You’ll explore culturally sensitive approaches that honour clients’ transcendent experiences without proselytising and discover how to translate these insights into value-driven homework and experiential learning that enhance treatment engagement.

Steve Johnson
Steve A Johnson, PhD, ScD, holds doctorates in philosophy and psychotherapy and was personally invited by Dr Albert Ellis to join his institute, where he contributed to integrating religion and spirituality into Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). He has trained and supervised professionals across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, developing advanced programmes that unite evidence-based methods with cultural, philosophical, and spiritual traditions. His work bridges the precision of cognitive-behavioural practice with the expansive dimensions of meaning, mystery, and aesthetic experience—where reason meets wonder, and both become paths to change.
