About this event

Find out the basics of Intellectual Property (IP) and why it is important to a new business to protect your assets!

At this workshop you will learn:

  • How to understand the 4 main types of IP & how they differ
  • Get a clearer idea of what IP you own
  • What's involved in registering a trademark
  • Where to go to for further help and advice

You will also learn about the Build A Business programme, offering support and facilities to help you succeed.

Plus meet our team and book in for individual support and advice.

If you have not registered with the Build A Business project before, you must complete a Registration Form to be able to join the workshop.

Please note that this event takes place in a public building where filming and photography may take place (including the recording of your voice) and may be used across our marketing media for promotional purposes. Should you wish to obtain more information or would like to discuss photography/video recording, then please speak to a member of our team, email galleryoldham@oldham.gov.uk or call 0161 770 8000.
