Event description

Description

This event is for you if you are a parent, carer or professional who supports an autistic child or adult.

The morning will provide an introduction to Responsive Communication - a combination of using body language to communicate with the person (Intensive Interaction) and understanding their sensory needs.

In keeping with the "autism from the inside-out" principle which lies at the heart of Responsive Communication, you will have the opportunity to explore your own sensory profile by means of a range of interactive sensory activities.

This event is free to parents, autistic people and their carers and we have kept it low-cost for professionals. If you would like to show your appreciation with a donation to The Caldwell Autism Foundation, a collection tin will be available. Tea, coffee and buiscuits will be provided in the mid-morning interval.

If you have any questions about this event, please do not hesitate to contact our Co-ordinator, Rorie Fulton, at rorie@thecaldwellautismfoundation.org.uk or on 07393 664 048.

We very much look forward to seeing you on the day.

There is a maximum of 42 places available at this event, so book your ticket soon!

PLEASE NOTE - DOORS OPEN AT 9.15 FOR A PROMPT 9.30 START
