Interact with Art using Augmented Reality - Launching GAMAR at the Ben Uri...
Tue 28 February 2017, 18:30 – 20:30 GMT
Join us to celebrate the launch night of GAMAR at the Ben Uri Gallery.
GAMAR is perfect for everyone to explore exhibitions using augmented reality on a tablet or smart phone.
Come along and learn about Art and History in a fun and exciting way. iPads will be offered to our visitors (or you can bring your own) to interact with the art works on our walls and learn about our current exhibition Yalta 1945.
Taking an interactive trail through the gallery you can uncover more about the art through quizzes and drawing challenges.
Yalta 1945 features 31 panels by two Russian artists: Vitaly Komar and Alexander Melamid, whose work is in response to the Yalta Conference, where the fate of Europe was decided by the Big Three: Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt.
Refreshments will be provided.
