We are researchers from De Montfort University who have developed a Job Quality Toolkit designed to help third-sector organisations (TSOs) delivering employability support to engage with the challenge of helping users with complex employment barriers into ‘decent work’. Job quality is a multi-faceted concept, and the toolkit aims to unpack this and explore practical ways in which TSOs can help their users think about what good work means for them and the challenges they face.
The three-hour workshop will introduce the toolkit, along with a series of interactive exercises that TSOs may be able to use with their users. The focus will be on discussion and mutual learning, and we hope to use your feedback to co-produce and refine the toolkit.
The workshop is aimed at TSOs who have employability as a significant component of what they do.
For those interested in finding out more in advance of the workshop, a series of background papers and a busy person’s guide can be found at: https://ersa.org.uk/news/co-developing-a-job-quality-toolkit-to-support-third-sector-organisations-helping-vulnerable-users-into-decent-sustainable-work/
We very much hope you can join us.
