Feb 23, 2018: Using Metaphorical Cards
A series of creative workshops for University of Manchester postgraduates to explore their cultural identities and communication in an interactive and group platform. Come and join us for one (or more than one, or all) of your interested sessions - enjoy this interactive experiential learning!
This workshop series is part of a developing research and training project by Tiffany and Min (see below for our brief background) on using Art as an effective and creative learning means to enhance one’s intercultural communication. We now invite you to participate in this workshop to explore your relationship with one another in this ‘cultural bubble’, and contribute to this meaningful research.
Consider the workshops if you are interested in,
- the topics of art or cultures, or relationship between the two;
- experiential learning and group work;
- learning how to present your cultural identity/experiences in an engaging way aside texts/language;
- sharing with and learning from each other on this cultural journey;
- contributing to research development on what is necessary in art which could facilitate one’s intercultural communication
- and more…
There is no required knowledge or skills for attending this training. The training is completely free, and tea/coffee and light snacks are provided.
