Event description

Description

This day-long health conference will explore interdisciplinarity in relation to health and wellbeing. It will bring together lecturers and students from various disciplines at the School of Social Professions, including Social Work, Youth Work, Community Development, Education and Health. In so doing, this conference seeks to stimulate discussion on how methodological diversity can help us examine complex questions relating to health and wellbeing. Organised by the Centre for Primary Health and Social Care we hope that you will find this event an opportunity to be inspired, to learn, and to be encouraged by research, which is a relevant area of professional development that will enhance your employability skills and career prospects. We are very excited to share and discuss with you some of the School’s projects being carried out by lecturers and students - all of which may be of use to your studies as you are about to embark on a dissertation.

All level 6 undergraduate and postgraduate health students are invited to attend.

The programme is organised around a cluster of themes, and it aims to present a range of research methodologies and approaches in Health and Wellbeing as well as best-practice examples.
