Join us for the FREE closing night celebration of Unwavering Beauty, a thought-provoking intergenerational feminist art exhibition. This powerful showcase is the culmination of a two-month series of workshops delivered by Bristol Women’s Voice in partnership with Alive, based on a concept and project originally conceived and developed by Bristol-based artist Amanda Hall https://www.amandahall43.com
This project, which replicates the original concept and project 'instructions Not Included' by artist Amanda Hall, which invited women of all ages to explore their personal experiences of ageing using pre-loved swimsuits as their canvas. Each piece explores the artists' personal experiences of ageing and challenges patriarchal and ageist assumptions made about women.
Come along for a private viewing of the final works, hear directly from some of the contributors. This event is open to everyone - from those involved in the workshops, to friends, supporters, and the wider community.
Light refreshments will be provided.
