Multiple Dates
Interior Stylist for a Day
Event Information
Description
Behind 99% of all interiors images you’ll find a stylist has been involved, yet most people don’t know we exist. For those who are aware of us, we are elusive when trying to access information. An Interior Stylist role in the photographic industry is one of sourcing props, finding locations, set designing, briefing contractors, trend forecasting along with styling in front of the camera itself.
Working with a professional photographer in a studio environment at Holborn Studios, you’ll work in teams to create a vignette image. Learning how to steer a shoot from brief, involving role play, to concept through to finished image. Ending the day with a digital image for your portfolio.
You’ll leave with an understanding what is expected of an Interior Stylist on an average commission. Along with learning how to translate and interrupt a client brief, what’s involved in commissioning a photographer and learn some tricks of the trade.
No prior skills or experience are required. The course is suitable for students, bloggers, current stylist assistants needing shoot experience or those looking for a career change.
