We are a friendly and open group, perfect for returning cyclists.
Led by trained Sustrans Volunteers, these rides are for the more experienced cyclist and will cover 15 to 20 miles at a steady pace.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring along a snack and a drink for yourself. A spare inner tube, bike lock and some money may be useful as we often stop for a cuppa and some cake!
You will need to bring with you a roadworthy bike.
Rising Sun Country Park rides - Please meet at the container infront of the Park cafe for 9.15am. The ride will leave at 9.30am.
Dobbies Garden Centre, Gosforth rides - Please meet outside the garden centre at 9.15am. The ride will leave at 9.30am.
Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
In the event of bad weather the ride may be cancelled at short notice - we'll contact you by text if this happens.
Please do not attend if you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have recently tested positive.
