This course will take place in the Richard Hoggart Building, Room TBC

Course Description

Intermediate I develops your ability to express opinions, describe experiences, and talk about daily life in more detail. You’ll expand your vocabulary and use more flexible sentence structures. This level also introduces longer listening passages and short reading texts.

This Course is Ideal For:

  • Students who completed all beginner levels
  • Learners with around 600 words
  • Anyone who wants to communicate with more detail and accuracy

What You Will Learn:

  • Vocabulary for work, relationships, lifestyle, and personal experiences
  • Expressing emotions, comparisons, and personal preferences
  • Using key grammar structures such as aspect markers and comparisons
  • Reading and understanding short texts
  • Listening to longer dialogues and conversations

By the End You Will Be Able To:

  • Express opinions clearly on familiar topics
  • Describe experiences and plans with detail
  • Understand longer spoken and written Chinese
  • Engage in meaningful everyday conversations
