Course Description
Intermediate II focuses on discussing social themes and expressing clearer, more structured opinions. You will learn to talk about culture, habits, health, learning, travel, and more, while refining sentence complexity and listening comprehension.
This Course is Ideal For:
- Students who completed Intermediate I
- Learners with around 900–1200 words
- Anyone preparing for HSK 3/4 or aiming for stronger fluency
What You Will Learn:
- Vocabulary for cultural topics, health, habits, travel, and learning
- Connecting ideas using linking words and logical structures
- Understanding and summarising short articles
- Clearer, more structured speaking strategies
- Listening to conversations at natural speed
By the End You Will Be Able To:
- Discuss social topics and explain your viewpoints
- Understand longer articles and narratives
- Speak more fluently with improved grammar
- Hold natural, extended conversations

Note: During reading weeks and bank holidays, there will be no classes unless specified by the teacher.

Please note, this is not a beginner's course. You must have your level assessed before attending class. Assessment is a free and informal session with one of our Mandarin teachers.
