Come and join Katya's Microadventures for a paddleboard lesson at Tittesworth Reservoir, near Leek.

Come and improve your paddleboarding with Katya

- Katya will teach you to improve:

- your paddle technique so it is more effective and powerful

- your turns - introducing the cross deck turn and the step back turn

- going in a straight line on the board

During the lesson Katya will show you around the reservoir and help you gain confidence on the board.

To sign up for this lesson you need to be able to comfortably stand and paddle on a paddleboard.

The reservoir is very beautiful with lots of wildlife including herons, lapwing, snipe and curlew.

The price includes paddleboard hire and launch fee. If you have your own board, please get in touch and I'll give you a £6 discount.

If you want to hire a wetsuit it's £3.50 from the centre.

Testimonial:

'What a brilliant day! Katya was fun and engaging and we learnt a lot but it was just nice being with like minded people enjoying freedom on the water. Katya wasn’t pushy but she gently encouraged us to try different things! Loved it. Am hooked. Thank you.' (Julie Elder)

These tickets are non refundable, but if you can't make it on the day, please feel free to gift the ticket to a friend.

Katya spent over ten years working at the BBC as a personal assistant, but got the itch to go self employed in 2016.

Social media was her speciality for 7 years (she was an Instagram Coach for 5 of those years), but in the background the idea for microadventures was bubbling away in her mind. Katya knew all her best ideas and experiences happened when she was outside with friends. Could she somehow turn that into a business? Finally in 2023, she made the leap and started Katya’s Microadventures.

Katya is someone who LOVES trying new things even if she’s rubbish at them! Whether that’s surfing or screen printing, she’ll give it a go. She wants other people to get the same buzz that she gets from immersing herself in a new experience. Katya loves being the cheerleader to help people do just that.
