International Bat Night Bat Walk, Linn Park, Glasgow

Join a local ecologist, Gabrielle Graham, with Clyde Bat Group for a walk around Linn Park, to learn about bats. You’ll learn about UK bat species, their life-cycle, habitats and feeding habits, along with how you can help these wonderful species.

Know before you go:

Mobility: We will be walking over uneven ground in the dark for about 1 hour.

What to bring: Warm clothes, torch and sturdy walking shoes.

Parking: public parking available on a first come, first serve basis.

Facilities: none available

Weather: the walk is weather dependent therefore we will notify you if the weather is unsuitable and provide an alternative date.

Pleate note that whilst this event is free, we recommend a donnation of £5.00 per booking. We would like to purchase bat boxes that we can deploy in Linn Park to monitor and help the bat population. Each bat box is approximately £30.00. We thank you in advance for your support.
