Description

INTERNATIONAL CARDIOVASCULAR GENOMIC MEDICINE CONFERENCE

This International convention is the Sixth Biennial Cardiff International Conference on Clinical Cardiovascular Genetics. The first convention in this series was held in 2007 and the last one was successfully staged in 2015.

The 2017 conference focuses on the current genomic medicine initiatives that impact on the contemporary clinical cardiovascular medicine practice. The 2 day conference offers diverse range of high profile presentations delivered by world class distinguished Faculty including Mike Ackerman (Mayo Clinic), Dan Arking (Johns Hopkins), Arthur Wilde (Amsterdam), Robert Hamilton (Toronto), Hugh Watkins (Oxford), Stuart Cooke (Imperial, London), Perry Elliott (UCL/St Bart’s, London), Bart Loeys (Antwerp), Nilesh Samani (BHF/ Leicester), Bernard Keavney (Manchester) and many other experts. The main theme of this major International event is ‘From genome diagnosis to therapy of inherited cardiovascular diseases’. Apart from the keynote and plenary presentations, the conference offers opportunity for selected oral and poster presentations. The UK Federation of Royal College of Physicians has supported this series for up to 15 hours continuous professional development (CPD) credits.
