Enter the ICC Public Gallery to view the Courtroom: Interactive presentations there include a video and Q&A with an ICC representative and run every hour. Learn how the ICC, as a permanent Court of last resort, works to bring justice to victims of some of the world’s worst crimes, and ask your questions to ICC experts. Visitors are then welcome to visit other information booths throughout the public area of the building, to learn more about jobs and internships as well as the Trust Fund for Victims. The estimated total time of the visit is about 45 minutes to an hour.

Please note that you'll be required to show a valid ID/passport upon arrival. Without this you'll be prohibited from entering.

Just Peace Open Day 2025

The Hague is known worldwide as the "International City of Peace & Justice," and almost every monumental building in the city plays a role in building a more just and peaceful world.

From the Peace Palace to the International Criminal Court, from the UN International Criminal Court to the Oranjehotel National Monument, the streets of The Hague breathe history! But what actually happens behind those grand doors every day? And how do people working in The Hague help make the world a better and fairer place? That's why the Just Peace Open Day is here to find out!

For one special Sunday in September, on the International Day of Peace, Just Peace The Hague and more than 20 partners will open their doors to you for a look behind the scenes and to hear the stories of the people and history behind each institution.

If you are planning on visiting more organisations during the Just Peace Open Day, make sure to only book one session in a given time slot. Multiple bookings in the same time slot (at one or multiple organisations) made by the same individual will be cancelled.

This information is used to manage your participation and to inform you about future events. If relevant, we may also collect your dietary requirements (e.g. for events with catering) or your consent to receive our newsletter. Beschrijving van evenement

Ga naar de ICC Public Gallery om de rechtszaal te bekijken: daar worden elk uur interactieve presentaties gegeven, waaronder een video en een vraag-en-antwoordronde met een vertegenwoordiger van het ICC. Ontdek hoe het ICC, als permanent hof van laatste instantie, zich inzet om gerechtigheid te brengen aan slachtoffers van enkele van de ergste misdaden ter wereld, en stel uw vragen aan ICC-experts. Bezoekers zijn vervolgens welkom om andere informatiestands in de openbare ruimte van het gebouw te bezoeken, om meer te weten te komen over banen en stages, evenals over het Trustfonds voor Slachtoffers. De geschatte totale duur van het bezoek is ongeveer 45 minuten tot een uur.

Houd er rekening mee dat u bij aankomst een geldig identiteitsbewijs/paspoort moet tonen. Zonder dit identiteitsbewijs wordt u de toegang ontzegd.

Just Peace Open Dag 2025

Den Haag staat wereldwijd bekend als de ‘Internationale Stad van Vrede & Recht’, en bijna elk monumentaal gebouw in de stad speelt een rol in het bouwen aan een rechtvaardiger en vreedzamer wereld.

Van het Vredespaleis tot het Internationaal Strafhof, van het Internationaal Strafhof van de VN tot het Nationaal Monument Oranjehotel, de straten van Den Haag ademen geschiedenis! Maar wat gebeurt er eigenlijk elke dag achter die grote deuren? En hoe helpen mensen die in Den Haag werken de wereld beter en eerlijker te maken? Daarom is er de Just Peace Open Dag om daar achter te komen!

Voor één speciale zondag, rond de Internationale Dag van de Vrede, in september openen Just Peace Den Haag en meer dan 20 partners hun deuren voor jou om een kijkje achter de schermen te nemen en verhalen te horen van de mensen en de geschiedenis van elke instelling.

Als je van plan bent om meerdere organisaties te bezoeken tijdens de Just Peace Open Dag, zorg er dan voor dat je slechts één sessie per tijdslot boekt. Meerdere boekingen in hetzelfde tijdslot (bij één of meerdere organisaties) door dezelfde persoon worden geannuleerd.

PrivacyverklaringThe Hague Humanity Hub verzamelt je naam, e-mailadres en (indien opgegeven) je organisatie wanneer je je registreert voor evenementen. Deze informatie wordt gebruikt om je deelname te beheren en je te informeren over toekomstige evenementen.
