About Rachel:

Rachel Chadwick, as well as a poet is a Lead Speech and Language Therapist for Deafness (Bart’s Health NHS Trust). She has a post graduate program in Speech and Language Therapy by the City St George’s University of London . She is clinical lecturer and survivor ambassador for Woman’s Trust, aLondon wide charity for domestic abuse recovery.

About her poetry: Running Through Trees and Glitter

"Rachel's collection of poems work together like a diary that takes one through a harrowing journey of survival and self discovery. Not a light read as regards content but very confessional and revelatory. A poetry that doesn't shy away from honesty and truth but addresses those virtues head on. A powerful 1st collection that offers hope by way of a connecting theme of travelling through a forest of dark secrets that also arrives at a kind of inner redemption. A journey to enlightenment by way of personal trials and tribulations that leads to the final poem 'Let her float' that closes and consolidates the collection with an affirmative message to herself and the reader.".
