International Franchising Master Class

Join the Department for International Trade (DIT) London Region and ERDF's 'Global Growth' Project on an intensive master class and learn how franchising internationally can benefit your company.
One way to grow your business internationally is to consider franchising.
This intensive master class is appropriate for any business which operates or could operate as a branch network and wants to expand internationally.
This workshop will highlight the various topics to be considered as a business contemplates expanding internationally, especially different laws, geographic concerns, capital availability and customer preferences to name a few.
Delegates will hear from legal professionals, experts in International trade, business case studies and experts on international franchising.

- Understand different techniques of franchising, master franchisors vs franchisee and selecting the right partner
- Understand the legal issues of franchising internationally and the restrictions businesses may face
- Learn about raising finance to support international expansion.
£125 + VAT (20%) = £150 Total
Places are limited to two delegates per company.
Companies must be a small or medium sized enterprise (SME) based within the South East or one of London’s 33 boroughs and must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months. You must have fewer than 250 employees, with a turnover of less than £40m and looking into increasing your overseas market access.
Delegates should be exporters or those new to exporting and is not suitable for agencies or intermediaries e.g. franchising consultants, legal firms, translation agencies, pr agencies, international business development agencies etc
