This International Games Week, Newcastle Libraries are hosting an online event for library professionals and staff to learn more about our board game collection, and to try some socially distanced versions of our favourite games.

This event is perfect for library staff interested in bringing board games into their library service, hosting board game events or even just discovering some modern board games. We'll be showcasing some of our favourite games from 6.00pm-9.00pm, after which you'll be able to ask our board game team about Newcastle Libraries' collection and about board games in general.

Our IGW event will be hosted through Jitsi, an open-source videoconferencing tool. Once you've registered we'll send all attendees instructions for connecting to the event.
