Event description
Help STA preserve life by the teaching of swimming and survival techniques by participating in our biggest Learn to Swim campaign.

About this Event

With babies, children and adults having very limited, or no access to swimming pools over the last 12 months, this year’s International Learn to Swim Week takes on a whole new level of importance and we want everyone to get involved – and to get back to “Loving Water Safely”.

This year, let’s once again globally unite as one voice. Let’s celebrate the return of swimming lessons, and use this as an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of learning to swim and water safety education – not only as a key life skill this time but how swimming will also play a really important role in helping our youngsters recover from the pandemic, physically and mentally.

During this year’s campaign, let’s also share the tremendous work of our teachers as they too ease back into swimming lessons post Covid-19.

With more than 150 Swim Star Swim Schools, 20 Swim Academies and 150,000+ STA swimming teachers world-wide, we can make a huge impact at this most critical time. Together we can help encourage people of all ages and abilities to get back in the pool, learn a life skill, have fun and get water-ready for the summer holidays.

Help STA preserve human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving, and survival techniques and let’s make this our biggest Learn to Swim campaign yet.
