Welcome to the annual Kingston University and St George's University of London International Day of the Midwife conference. Our conference this year addresses contemporary issues in global maternity care and brings together a fantastic arrray of speakers from a variety of backgrounds. All proceeds from the event will go to Maternity Worldwide, our chosen charity.

About Maternity Worldwide

Maternity Worldwide’s vision is of a world in which all women and their babies can access safe and appropriate childbirth regardless of where they live. They work with communities and their partners to identify and develop appropriate and effective ways to reduce maternal and newborn mortality and morbidity, to facilitate communities to access quality, skilled maternity care and to support the provision of quality skilled care.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

A limited amount of parking is available on site for students and staff with Kingston University parking permits. The closest station is Norbiton Station and regular buses run to and from the station and Kingston Hill campus.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your ticket to registration in the morning.
