About this event

Join us this International Sherry Week for a special celebration of the timeless connection between sherry and whisky.

Each session includes samples of three hand-picked sherries alongside our three sherry cask-finished Scotch whiskies. To complement the tasting, we’ll also be serving a selection of small bites to demonstrate the rich possibilities of sherry and food pairing.

Throughout the experience, we’ll explore the fascinating history and enduring influence of sherry on Scotch whisky maturation, and offer you a rare insight into our use of first-fill sherry casks here at Jackton Distillery.

Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your place!

Frequently asked questions

How long will each session last?

Each session will last 50 minutes. The Tasting Bar will be open after each session for guests to enjoy additional drinks or cocktails with our bar team.

How many samples are included?

Each session includes samples of three D.O. Jerez sherry wines and three of our own RAER sherry cask finished Scotch whiskies.

Will food be served during the session?

We'll be demonstrating some classic sherry food pairings such as dark chocolate and charcuterie alongside the samples. Please let our team know in advance if you have any food allergies.

Is the tasting dog friendly?

We regret that as we are a food and drink production business we are unable to permit dogs into the tasting under any circumstances.

Is the tasting wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There is a small incline on the approach to our warehouse, but the route between the Tasting Bar and the warehouse is step-free. The distillery has two accessible parking spaces and accessible restrooms on site.

Are picnics allowed to be brought?

Yes, we allow guests to bring picnics into our Tasting Bar, but we ask that no outside food is brought into the warehouse or consumed during the tasting.
