Overview

The success of EU and NATO member states in Central and Eastern Europe tells a compelling story.

Ukraine's struggle embodies a nation's heroic fight for European values, marking a defining boundary in how East and West understand societal, economic, and cultural priorities worth defending.

The success of EU and NATO member states in Central and Eastern Europe tells a compelling story. Poland's recent G20 membership positions it as a model for transforming nations, reshaping the balance of influence across the continent. This moment demands we examine how regional relationships are being recalibrated—not just between governments, but between peoples.

The pendulum dynamics within the CEE region have never been more relevant. As post-communist nations integrate with Western liberal values, critical questions emerge about solidarity and progress.

While the war makes East-West divisions vivid, we should consider an alternative perspective: the past three decades represent one of the 21st century's greatest success stories in European integration.

In this event we'll be discussing:

  • The redefinition of East-West boundaries and competing visions of European values
  • Poland's G20 membership as a milestone for post-communist transformation
  • Recalibrating regional relationships between CEE nations and Western Europe
  • The pendulum shift of influence within Central and Eastern Europe
  • European solidarity and integration over three decades as a 21st-century success story

Join us as we explore these critical questions about Europe's past, present, and future.
