The International Student Welcome Programme introduces new students to living and studying in the UK and, specifically, at Queen Mary University of London. It is open to all international students and is free to attend. Workshops and presentations run with lots of useful information- from registering with the Police, immigration advice and banking, to where to buy food, keeping fit and finding part-time work.

The International Student Welcome Programme will take place from Monday 21– Wednesday 23 September 2015 in the mornings, and there will also be special social events taking place, including an evening boat trip on the River Thames and local area walks.

All new international students are invited and we hope that you decide to join us, however please be aware that if your academic department or school has scheduled meetings or events at the same time as the International Student Welcome Programme you must attend those events. Please note, if you are on an Associate Programme/ Study Abroad programme of 6 months or less, there will be a separate induction programme for you.

PLEASE NOTE: PG Law students have their own session arranged as per their individual programme for induction and therefore do not have to attend these sessions.
