Description

The School of Medicine is hosting talks by a diverse range of speakers to celebrate International Women's Day 2018. Our programme will include:

Welcome and Opening Address, Professor Lisa Roberts, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Leeds

Helen Gordon, CEO Royal Society of Medicine

Athena SWAN Gold, Dr Caroline Dessent, Department of Chemistry, University of York

'He for She' in the School of Medicine

Insights from Freedom4Girls and Women’s Health Matters

The event will also include information about the experiences of students in the School of Medicine with Dr Louise Bryant, how we will support the “Press for Progress” campaign with Professor Laura Stroud - plus the premiere of our He for She film.

The session will close with lunch and networking.
