Description

*Please note that this is an internal event only open to University of Sheffield members of professional services, academic staff and students. Everyone welcome regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.*

The Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures has 66 PhD students across 34 departments and from 27 different countries. Over half our students are female and all are conducting interdisciplinary research into sustainability.

Come along on International Women’s Day and find out more about the research we conduct and issues our students face as female researchers. This event will be introduced by Professor Gill Valentine, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and chaired by Michelle Moore, Deputy Director of Advancement & Head of Fundraising.

There will be four short talks by Grantham PhD students followed by a panel discussion and an opportunity for networking afterwards.
