International Women's Day: Celebrating the achievements, diversity and unity of women across Leicester and Leicestershire

Come and join us in celebrating the strengths, creativity and wit of women of women across Leicestershire

Hear from local inspirational women speakers such as Dr Ellen Wright, Lecturer in Cinema and Television History at DMU, Councillor Elaine Pantling celebrating the work of local suffragette Alice Hawkins and Sandra Pollock, founder of the East Midlands Women's awards.

New speakers just confirmed include:

Ulrike Kubbatta and Suzanne Imber on Women in Space. More being added shortly.

Stroll around stalls from various women's groups across Leicestershire including:

Visit our FUn Library inspired by the Human Library and chat one-to-one with people like you who want to give voice to a part of their life story; an aspect which is often stereotyped and stigmatised.
