Come and Celebrate International Women's Day with us on March 8th, 2022
International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
This year’s theme is #BreakTheBias imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
Our celebration is for both men and women and will include the following;
• An elite Exhibition of female led businesses and/or services for women.
• An exciting Speed Networking experience, during which you’ll get to meet all event delegates. Plus, there will be more opportunities to network further throughout the day.
• Thought provoking & motivational talks & presentations by Female Leaders from the Peterborough & Cambridgeshire Business Community.
Speaker no.1 - Dr Shabina Asad Qayyum
Shabina works as a GP and is a Labour Councillor in Peterborough. She will be talking about the challenges she has seen with regards to the mental health and wellbeing of women in the workplace as well as those faced by women in politics.
Speaker no. 2 - Rania Kurdi
Rania is a Jordanian/British born, bicultural, highly successful comedy actress, TV host and singer throughout the Arab world. Since returning to the UK she now works as a transformative confidence coach, motivational speaker and hosts her own podcast “Breaking Free with Rania Kurdi”. She will be talking to us about how you can ooze more confidence and ignite the Goddess within.
Speaker no.3 - Katie Hart
Katie is an International speaker, psychologist, trainer and researcher in the exciting new field of Neuromarketing & gender marketing. She’s passionate about providing insight into our brains, and using that knowledge to help people understand themselves better and will be sharing her expertise on this and more.
• Question & Answer, Panel discussion – What can we do to #BreakTheBias and create more equality?
Our panel will consist of three male and three female inspirational leaders from the Peterborough & Cambridgeshire business community. What do you think we can do to #BreakTheBias, we’d love to know your thoughts? You’ll be able to submit your questions and get them answered by our panellist’s.

9.30am to 3.00pm (the main event will finish at 2.30pm, with further opportunities to network for those who don’t have to rush off). You can attend for either the morning or the afternoon should you wish.
