The AI for Robotics workshop is a biennial event that brings together researchers and experts to explore progress and future directions towards making robots part of our everyday lives.
The focus of this year's edition is Spatial AI. This technology allows robots to build real-time 3D models of their environments, recognize people and objects and make decisions that are context-aware. These capabilities are increasingly powered by LLMs and AI-based reasoning, which provide robots with a deeper understanding of tasks, goals and human instructions, bringing us closer to robots that can operate autonomously in complex, real-world environments.
