The themes of this one day intensive symposium will focus on new and emerging treatment for cardiovascular diseases, cardio-metabolic disorders and cell signalling, inflammation, endothelial cell biology and angiogenesis, cardiac and vascular remodelling and pulmonary vascular diseases. Highlights include; new and emerging treatments for cardiovascular diseases, cardiac and vascular remodeling, endothelial cell biology and angiogenesis, pulmonary vascular diseases, key molecular targets and signaling pathways in inflammation, cardio-metabolic disorders.
Presentations will address cutting edge cell, molecular, and genetic studies, in vivo models and new, novel and advancing approaches to the management and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The workshop will be of interest to research students, basic and biomedical scientists, clinical scientists and clinicians, including trainees in cardiology, internal and vascular medicine, rheumatology and related specialties, in addition to established physicians wishing to be updated in complications of human cardiovascular disease, current targets and medical therapies, and scientists with interests in cells, molecules and mediators within cardiovascular biology and vasculopathies.
