About our Speaker: Gracia Amico, CEO, PetsPyjamas
Gracia is the CEO of PetsPyjamas, the number one online marketplace of products, services, travel bookings, content and community for pet lovers. As well as continuing to grow a highly innovative and ground breaking business, PetsPyjamas have been recognised for their excellence in customer experience in this fast growing industry. Amongst various industry awards Gracia was most recently awarded as the One to watch on both the Retail Week Top 100 power list and the Retail Week Etail Power list. Gracia has a Master’s Degree in Sinology and Business studies from the Leiden University in the Netherlands. Previous jobs include Ecommerce Director for Hobbs where she launched 4 international sites and was responsible for their multi-channel strategy and international partners both on and offline. She spent 5 years at Topman heading up their global ecommerce department. In this capacity she launched international websites in a multitude of countries and was responsible for their multi-channel strategy. In 2007 Gracia spent a year at the luxury fashion company Burberry to set up their ecommerce marketing strategy. Gracia was part of the first wave of ecommerce start-ups back in 2000, securing venture capital investment for her own dotcom company and has been instrumental in the launch and successful sale of various other private online companies. In 2013 she was awarded a position in the top 100 Digerati and was also recognised as a key player in the industry with her presence in the top 100 Movers and Shaker ranking. Recently she was listed on the prestigious Retail Week Power List 2014 as ‘One to watch’.
