Internet Safety - A Guide For Parents
Event Information
About this Event
This workshop is aimed at parents who feel they need a little more help in navigating their child's online behaviours. It is aimed at parents whose children are fairly new to being independent in the online world.
During this workshop I will talk you through some of the issues that children might face when they are online. I will cover issues such as what online behaviours might expose them to greater risk, what potential effects this may have on their development and behaviour, how we can promote digital resillience and how to manage online privacy.
It will be an interactive session where you will discuss with other parents your thoughts and ideas.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and raise your concerns.
The session will run for 2 hours via Zoom.
You do not need to download zoom to access this session, when you sign up to the course you will be sent an email that will indicate when you will receive your log in link. This will be sent to you shortly before the session and all you have to do is click on the link and join the session.
The cost for this workshop is £10 per person.
