Learning objectives:
1) Review and understand concepts constructing the somatosensory system: tactile, proprioception, and interoception, and their role in SI
2) Learn the basic neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of the somatosensory system emphasizing on interoception
3) Learn how interoception influences and allows for the development of self-regulatory processes.
4) Learn how interoception impacts cognition, social adaptation, and communication.
