Interactive Workshop: Co-authoring an intersection response to the rise of the anti-rights movement
Disabled people, alongside every other community marginalised by our society, are facing an increasingly hostile environment created by successive governments and media across the globe. This workshop will explore how we can respond effectively, strategically and in solidarity to defend our rights and force political change.
Rick Burgess will begin the session with context setting and myth-busting, and then we will move in to a collaborative and interactive set of conversations designed to bring us closer as a movement, identify key areas to put pressure on policy makers, and win human rights victories together.
