Do I have to stay for the whole 90 minutes ?

Ideally you would stay for the whole session so that you can learn all you can from the team at the College of West Anglia and Norfolk and Waveney Mind.

You mentioned the Care Start course what is that ?

It is a 6 week level 2 award course (one day a week), the only mandatory part of the course is presented onsite at the School of Nursing Studies in Norfolk. There are also masterclasses, work familiarisation sessions and job coaching

I have heard about your Care Start course is it too late to join ?

Unfortunately, our current course has already started but we are running Care Start again in April and November – if you contact the team schoolofnursing@cwa.ac.uk for more information about how to join.

I don’t live in King’s Lynn or West Norfolk can I attend courses elsewhere ?

The Apollo project is working across Norfolk and Suffolk to enhance recruitment and retention of health and care staff in rural and coastal communities. It's a collaboration of 6 further education colleges  all providing slightly different opportunities  for learners. For more, drop us an email.
