Description
Discover how to prepare effectively for all types of interviews and develop techniques to help manage interview nerves.
Using techniques drawn from actor training, this full-day workshop explores how to create presence and self-confidence, as well as identifying techniques for managing nerves before and during an interview. We will consider effective ways to structure clear, succinct answers that show your skills and abilities, making you the hero of your own story. Practical exercises on how to deal with those unexpected questions will help to build confidence, and allow you to remain confident and credible even when under pressure. The full-day workshop will culminate in individual interview practice to provide the opportunity to embed the skills learnt during the day, and to receive individual feedback.
- Practice being actively present through posture and breathing techniques
- Learn how to structure answers that show your skills and abilities to the fullest
- Discuss and practice strategies for handling unexpected questions
- Build a set of skills to handle nerves both before and during an interview
Interviewing with Impact is led by fully qualified Voice and Communications Trainer. Group sizes are limited to 10 participants to ensure maximum impact and individual feedback. The course will run 10am - 5pm at the Cervantes Theatre in Southwark.
