INTOTRI - St. Andrew's School TRIal
Fri 26 May 2017, 09:00 – 11:00 BST
FROM ZERO INTO TRI HERO
Have your kids been inspired by the fantastic achievements of Team GB during the Olympics in Rio? INTOTRI gives them a chance to become an Olympic Superhero for a day and experience one of the most exciting and fastest growing Olympic sports: Triathlon.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
INTOTRI, a charity that runs the world’s 1st FREE Triathlon Series (junior /senior), is pioneering triathlon at the Surrey School Games 2017. Following a playful introduction to the sport at your kids school assembly, all kids currently in years 3-6 are invited to experience the thrill of triathlon, either solo or as part of a relay team with their friends, at one of three Intra School TRIals. Children who enjoyed their first taste of triathlon are then invited to represent their school at the Inter School Season Finale, the Mermaid Cup, on 09-Jul 2017.
Entry is FREE, donations are welcome (we are not funded by any corporate or public entity).
DO KIDS NEED EXPENSIVE KIT & WHAT ABOUT FITNESS?
A swimming costume, any road worthy bike, helmet and a pair of trainers and the kids are ready to go. Front crawl or breaststroke, all in one go or stop after every length. We group swimmers by ability to make it fun for everyone.
WHAT ARE THE DISTANCES
