Intro To Buddhism | 6-week course

Every Tuesday from 23 Jan - 27 Feb | 19:00 - 20:30 with experienced facilitators


ABOUT THE CLASS

New to Buddhism? Want to see what it’s all about, or just use its teachings to improve your daily life? This introductory course allows students to learn the basics and try Buddhist concepts on for size.

During this course, experienced course leaders explain Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation from a modern perspective, giving instruction in order to help you apply this ancient wisdom to increase peace, happiness, and compassion in your daily life.


CLASS FORMAT

Suitable for getting started with Buddhist study and for those who want to refresh their understanding. People of any faith or background are welcome. The body of the course is composed of philosophy classes supported by in-class meditation sessions.

CLASS LEADERS

Taught by our course leaders, who have many years of experience in practicing meditation and teaching in a warm, loving style. They teach in a way that is easy for anyone to follow and enjoy. They will rotate and share their knowledge in pairs.

N.B. The same course is repeated every 6-week, so no prob if you missed a class. You can catch up on the next course!

Suggested donation: £48 full course or £10 per class ( £8 per class if you book in advance). No-one will be turned away due the lack of funds
