My daughter came home RAVING about how brilliant the workshop was! She thoroughly loved it, and didn’t stop talking about it all day. Thank you for ensuring ALL children feel involved and engaged in science and technology. Well done and thank you from a very grateful mum! - Melanie, Brighton

Workshop Theme: Introduction to Computer Programming with Minecraft EDU!

Recommended Ages: 9-13. Students will work individually.

Description: Learn Computer Science and Programming concepts within a Minecraft EDU world! Students will be provided with an individual laptop and Minecraft EDU login, and will work together with a teacher 'in-world' to solve puzzles and complete computing challenges.

Minecraft EDU is the educator version of the popular sandbox game, and provides a safe and interactive learning environment. We recommend that students have some familiarity with Minecraft prior to attending this workshop.

Please bring: Snack/drink for a mid-session break.

Venue/Transport: There is 1hr free parking outside the venue, and free street parking nearby. The 5A bus route has plenty of regular buses from the centre of town, and stops next door, outside the Co-op Supermarket in Old London Road.

About Us: Curiosity Hub provides creative tech workshops to support STEAM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Arts & Maths) education for all ages. Find out more at thecuriosityhub.com
