Intro to Crochet Workshop
Overview
A crochet class for beginners!
Crocheting looks pretty impressive, and maybe a little intimidating. Don't worry - it's all for show! Crocheting is all about wrapping the yarn around a hook and pulling it through holes. Once you've got the hang of that - you're a crocheter!
This workshop will start you off with the basic skills, techniques and stitches that you need to make crocheting your new 'thing'.
Crocheting is an enjoyable and relaxing hobby that can help you to recharge and regroup in times of stress. It's an accessible way to look after your well-being and mental health as well as being fun and helping you feel productive!
About the tutor:
Leigh has been a crochet tutor for over 6 years, running mindful crochet workshops as well as running regular public workshops in Edinburgh, West Lothian and Glasgow.
Donation: There's an optional donation to go towards the running costs of the classes - this stops people booking up all the free tickets then not showing up! Eventbrite requires £1 to be entered in the box but we can refund that in cash when you attend the class, or you can put it towards a cup of tea from the kitchen ☕
