About this event

  • Event lasts 30 minutes

We’re hosting a free 30-minute cyber security session in Inverness, designed specifically for organisations across the Highlands and Islands. This short, practical session will cover the essentials of cyber hygiene — including how to spot phishing attempts, secure devices, and respond effectively to common cyber threats.

Whether you’re part of a charity, public body, or small business, this session is ideal for non-technical staff who want to better understand the risks and take simple, effective steps to stay secure.

We’re especially keen to support organisations from rural areas of Scotland, where access to this kind of support may be limited. You don’t need any prior cyber knowledge — just a willingness to learn and strengthen your organisation’s cyber resilience.

Places are limited, so don’t miss this opportunity to boost your team’s awareness and protect your organisation from preventable threats.

Organized by

The Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland is a more than not-for-profit, employee-first organisation that exists to ensure Scottish organisations are as resilient as they can be against cyber and fraud crime. In the eventuality of a cyber or fraud attack, the centre and its partners can support organisations through it and help resume operations.
