This workshop will give you a brief introduction to the architecture of the Bristol HPC (High Performance Computing) system and the software environment.
You will be shown how to compile and install codes, submit jobs and apply for an account.
Workshop duration: 1.5 hours
Prerequisites: This workshop assumes you have already attended an 'Introduction to Linux' course or have a working knowlege of Linux.
Location: W414, Chemistry, Cantock's Close, BS8 1TS - Instructions on how to find the W414 room.

You will need a University Ucard to enter the building.
