IS THIS COURSE FOR ME?
Are you a complete beginner over the age of 16 wanting to try Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Grappling? If the answer is YES then look no further than our introduction course starting in January.
This course is designed for those new to grappling training. It is a step-by-step introduction to fundamental techniques and tactics, the perfect way to sample training or as a stepping stone to beginning your martial arts journey.
Often people say to us "I'll start training martial arts once I get in shape". But training is how you get in shape!! And the sooner you start training the sooner you'll make progress and see benefits.

On our Introduction to Jiu Jitsu Beginners Course you will learn effective grappling techniques for sport and self defence as well discover the secrets of how combat sport athletes train and improve fitness. Each week we will build on the previous lesson to create a framework of techniques that cover the most common situations in grappling. All done in a small group led by a senior instructor. You will also receive a Leicester Shootfighters academy t-shirt on arrival.
Suitable for all levels, this course is aimed at those new to martial arts with no previous experience and no special uniform or protective equipment is required.
Limited number of spaces available.
Payment must be made before first session to secure a place.
Places are non-refundable but can be transferred to future courses or academy membership if unable to attend.
