@St Matts present a Lino Printing Taster with professional Artist and Printmaker Ken McCalla of YAHW ARTS. You are invited to join us in the heart of Brixton at St Matthew's Church BMC
DATE: Friday 19 September 2025
TIME: Afternoon Session from 1:00 PM - 4PMTIME: Evening Session from 6:00PM - 9PM
With over 20 years of printmaking and teaching experience Ken McCalla of YAHW ARTS will provide both group tuition and 1 - 1 learning opportunities.
In the 3hr session you will be guided through all stages of the lino printmaking process in a supportive and fun environment. Using symbols a a starting point you will learn how to make prints that can be reproduced on a range of surfaces and materials in an affordable way.
Get ready to unleash your hidden creativity and learn the art of lino printing in a fun, soulful and interactive session. No experience needed, just come with an open mind and eagerness to create!
At the end of the workshop, you will have a minimum of 6 original greetings cards or prints to show off to friends and family, along with a newly cut lino design to take home to continue making more prints using the techniques you have learnt in the session.
