Intro to Stranded Colour Work knitting at Manchester Wool & Yarn!

Join us at Manchester Wool & Yarn for a fun and informative workshop on Stranded Colour Work knitting. Learn how to create beautiful patterns using multiple colors in your knitting projects. This workshop will be focusing on strandard colour work done in the round.

What we'll cover...

• Chart reading
• Tension techniques
• Holding your yarn when working with multiple starnds
• The importance of Colour dominance

To take part in this workshop we ask participants are able to knit an purl prior to the event, and some knowledge of kniting in the round may be helpful but not essential.

If you are providng your own needles and yarn you will need:

• roughly 100g of a light coloured chunky weight yarn
• roughly 100g of a darker coloured chunky weight yarn
• 5mm & 6mm 40cm circualr needles.

we are aiming to make a snood/cowl so you may want to bare this in mind making yout choice.

If you have selceted to have the yarn & needles provided on the night they are your to take home with you.
