About the training:
This session is aimed at Managers and HR professionals based in Early Years settings and will explore simple ways to integrate domestic abuse policies and processes and promote domestic abuse aware employment practices.
Delegates must have attended the Early Years and domestic abuse training.
Aims:
· Introduce ways to ensure your Early Years HR policies include domestic abuse
· Improve your EY’s setting capacity to respond to employees experiencing domestic abuse
· Increase awareness of good practice in responding to domestic abuse in the workplace
· Provide an opportunity to consider simple ways to integrate domestic abuse into your existing safeguarding Policy
· Provide a template domestic abuse policy for consideration.
About our trainers
Our trainers here at Equation, have an extensive background in supporting survivors of domestic abuse in a range of specialist provisions, as well as supporting children.

PLEASE NOTE: : This training is being held face to face. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you cannot attend the training.
If you are unable to attend due to sickness on the day please inform us by email. We are also able to accept an alternative delegate in your place - their name will need to be provided before the start of the session by email to training@equation.org.uk.
Failure to attend without notice will be classed as no show. Your manager will be notified of your absence.
