About this event
Join us on Monday 23rd May on Zoom from 5PM – 6PM as we launch our brand new toolkit - a guide of all the services and resources that we provide for LGBTQ+ communities of colour.
Here’s a little more of what you can expect from our webinar:
What’s in the toolkit?
It’s packed with a range of materials including:
- Training offerings around existing health inequalities for LGBTQ+ BPoC communities, their origins and practical solutions on how to combat them
- Free health and wellbeing resources around sexual health, mental health, chronic illnesses and reproductive health
- And more opportunities to improve your knowledge around the experiences of LGBTQ+ folk of colour in healthcare
The work we do is evidence-based and peer-led, peer-reviewed and community driven. We aim to address the misinformation around healthcare for LGBTQ+ communities of colour and inform decision making around health.
Who is the toolkit for?
Anyone who is working in health and social care, sexual or reproductive health, chronic illnesses, mental health or wellbeing. This could include:
- NHS workers (healthcare assistants, nurses, doctors)
- Therapists, counsellors, psychotherapists, clinical supervisors
- Social workers, youth workers
The space is also open to funders who offer grants to LGBTQ+ BPoC projects.
